Terms of Service

The plain-English rules for using this site and ordering puzzles. We've kept the legalese light and said what we actually mean.

The short version

When you order from MySlavko, you’re agreeing to these terms. Your photos stay yours — you just confirm you’re allowed to use them, and you give us permission to print them. Because most of what we make is made to order, change-of-mind cancellations are limited once we’ve started — but anything that arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll always put right. The full detail is below.

1. Who we are

MySlavko is an online puzzle shop — custom photo puzzles, a rotating puzzle board, ready-made jigsaws and a few accessories to go with them. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean MySlavko; “you” and “your” mean the person ordering or using the site. The best way to reach us is our contact page.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By ordering from us or using this site, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

3. Who can order

You need to be at least 18 to place an order — or have a parent or guardian do it for you — and be able to enter a binding agreement.

4. Your photos and content

When you upload a photo, you confirm that:

  • You own it, or you have permission from whoever does, to use it for a printed puzzle.
  • It doesn’t include anything unlawful, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights (copyright, trademark or privacy) — and if it shows another person, that you have their permission, or a parent or guardian’s if it’s a child.
  • You give us a limited permission to store, process, print and deliver the photo for the single purpose of making your order — and nothing more.

We may decline, without a refund, any order that breaks these promises — though we’ll always try to flag a problem before we print rather than after.

5. Orders, prices and payment

Adding something to your cart and checking out places an order — think of it as an offer to buy. A contract between us forms when we email to confirm we’ve accepted your order, not at the checkout screen, and we can decline an order (for example, if an item’s mispriced or unavailable, or a custom upload breaks the rules above).

Prices, and any tax that applies, are shown at checkout for your delivery address, and payment is taken in full then. Promotional codes are single-use unless we say otherwise, can’t be exchanged for cash, and can’t be combined with other offers unless stated.

6. Making and sending your order

Most of what we make is made to order, so your item is produced for you after you order. Delivery cost and timing are shown at checkout and explained on our shipping page — they’re careful estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we’ve received payment in full.

7. Cancellations, refunds and replacements

Because each made-to-order item is produced specifically for you, the change-of-mind cancellation rights that apply to off-the-shelf goods generally don’t apply once production has started. You can cancel before it starts — usually a short window after checkout — and anything that arrives damaged or faulty we’ll always put right. The full picture is on our refunds page.

8. Using the site

Please use the site fairly and lawfully. Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer it, don’t upload anything harmful, and don’t use it for anything illegal. We may suspend access if the site’s being misused.

9. Intellectual property

Your photos stay yours — uploading one gives us no rights to it beyond making your order. Everything else — the MySlavko name, this site, its design, the configurator and the image-processing behind it — belongs to us, and isn’t to be copied, reused or reverse-engineered without our written permission.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: our total responsibility for any one order is limited to what you paid for it, and we’re not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses such as lost time, lost profit or disappointment.

11. Things outside our control

We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control — carrier disruption, severe weather, supplier failure and the like. If one happens, we’ll keep you posted and find an alternative where we can.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms now and then. If a change is significant, we’ll say so on the site. The “Last updated” date below always tells you which version is current.

14. Your rights

Nothing in these terms affects the statutory consumer rights you have where you live. If something’s faulty, not as described, or not as it should be, those rights always apply — whatever else these terms say.

15. How to reach us

Questions about any of this? Our contact page is the quickest way to reach a real person.
